Steve,
will you have a review of MiCoach up sometimes this week. Any quick thoughts? I was hoping it would be a good addition to my schools fitness app library. |

Hi Dennis,
Seems that 505 Games is really mucking up the distribution for this game. The original release date was 7/24, but when I walked into GameStop to pick up my preorder they had no clue where it was. I went back on the 25th and 26th, but no shipments yet. Happily, I just got a text message from GameStop telling me I can expect it today (Friday). I'll be picking it up and should be able to provide a review over the weekend. I'll probably post the review for the PS3 version first, and then the Xbox version shortly afterwards. Stay tuned to XboxFitness.org and PS3Fitness.com over the next few days!
Thanks! Steve |

Thanks Steve!
This is the first fitness game released in quite a while so I look forward to see if it is quality. |

Well, it took a while, but I finally got reviews posted for both the Xbox version:
http://www.xboxfitness.org/review-of-adidas-micoach-for-kinect/ ...and the PS3 version: http://www.ps3fitness.com/2012/07/28/review-of-adidas-micoach-for ... The verdict? I think people who might have been expecting a "complete exercise system" like EA Sports Active 2 might be disappointed. The game focuses mostly on strength and conditioning, leaving the aerobic stuff to their Web site. Also, you're on your own as far as purchasing things like Heart Rate Monitors. Still, for budding athletes looking for a cheap replacement to an expensive day-to-day coach, it's got some solid routines. And to me, the star of the show are the "training games" which are actually fun and give a great workout. So I'd say it's a quality game, but there is still a lot of room for Wii Fit U or Nike+ Kinect to outclass it in the Fall. Thanks! Steve |
